Laurits Jespersen, sandy slurry
Landia supplied an automatic system consisting of a mixer and a submersible pump for a reception tank of slurry, containing sand.
The farm has two storage tanks, where, by means of a height-adjustable Landia pump, the sand settles in the first tank and the slurry is thereafter pumped 600 m to the second tank.
Landia supplied a series of pumps and channel mixers for reception tanks, slurry channels, collection of silage sites, and for pumping feed.
Landia was also responsible for supplying the control system for the pumps and channel mixers.
Landia supplied 10 pumps and mixers for mixing and pumping sandy slurry. This includes mixing and pumping of slurry to a sand washer.
Landia has designed a pump solution which prevents clogging of back-flush pipes - something which has proven to be a problem in mink slurry.
Furthermore, pumps and mixers were supplied for the storage tank.
Landia supplied pumps and mixers for a slurry separator, as well as a total of 9 other pumps in connection with renovating the mink farm.
