Higher biogas yield after switch to Landia JetMix

At the Pardubice biogas plant, the original submersible mixers in the rectangular digesters had reached their limits: surface crust kept forming, and mixing performance held back gas production.

The mixers were replaced with the Landia JetMix system – an externally mounted solution with a Landia chopper pump and nozzles positioned at multiple levels. With no equipment inside the tank, all service is carried out safely from ground level, without emptying the digester.

The results:

• Significantly higher biogas production
• Surface crust formation virtually eliminated
• Efficient, reliable mixing at a dry solids content of approx. 3.5% – even in the challenging rectangular digester geometry
