PE PowerEnsiler
Continuous ensiling. No build-up. Full control.
Handles fish and by-products as they come in, without stopping the process or creating untreated zones in the tank.
No build-up inside the tank. Material is processed immediately.
Developed from 30+ years of hands-on experience in fish silage.

The problem
Fish and by-products start to degrade immediately.
If not processed at once, it leads to:
- build-up in the tank
- unstable silage quality
- increased hygiene risks
The solution
The PowerEnsiler™ processes material instantly.
No delays. No dead zones. No build-up.
Result: a controlled process and consistent, pumpable silage.

FAQ about PowerEnsiler
What is the PowerEnsiler?chevron_right
PowerEnsiler is an integrated ensiling system developed to convert fish mortalities and by-products into stable, pumpable fish silage. It is designed for continuous operation in aquaculture environments where hygiene and reliability are critical.
How does the ensiling process work?chevron_right
Fish and by-products enter the tank through an offset inlet that guides the material directly into the integrated chopper pump. The knife system macerates the material immediately, while automatic acid dosing stabilises the silage by controlling the pH level.
Why is the cutting system integrated inside the tank?chevron_right
The integrated chopper pump eliminates the need for external grinders. This reduces installation complexity, lowers maintenance requirements, and minimizes exposed components.
How is silage quality controlled?chevron_right
Automatic acid dosing maintains consistent pH levels. The direct flow design prevents accumulation of untreated material, helping ensure uniform and repeatable silage quality.
Can the system be adapted to different installations?chevron_right
Yes. PowerEnsiler can be supplied with polyethylene (PE) or AISI 316 stainless steel tanks. It is also available in ATEX configuration and can be integrated with hygienisation for biogas applications.
What are the main operational benefits?chevron_right
- Improved biosecurity
- Reduced risk of decay and contamination
- Centralized control of the entire process
- Reliable, low-maintenance design
