Technical Sales Representative


Location: Hybrid Role (Whitchurch) with regular UK travel (3 days field / 2 days office)

Landia UK Ltd is looking for a driven and personable Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team. Since 1994, we have built a strong and trusted reputation across the wastewater, biogas, and agricultural sectors and we are committed to strengthening this further through continued growth and customer-focused solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers, and building meaningful relationships, while also having the structure and support of an experienced office-based team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will take ownership of a defined territory, managing customer relationships and sales opportunities from initial contact through to order.

You will spend the majority of your time on-site with customers (typically three days per week), gaining a clear understanding of their operational needs and delivering practical, technically sound solutions. The remaining time will be office-based, supporting administration, quotations, and internal collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage your territory through regular customer visits and face-to-face engagement
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across key sectors
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Represent Landia UK professionally, enhancing our reputation in the marketplace
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions
  • Prepare, manage, and follow up on quotations through the full sales cycle
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and forecasts using internal systems
  • Ensure a smooth and detailed handover of orders to the Projects Department
  • Support the wider team when required, including occasional assistance to internal sales (full training provided)

Candidate Profile:

  • A self-motivated and confident individual with a genuine enthusiasm for sales and customer engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Have the ability and willingness to learn technical products and systems, with the ability to develop and present engineered solutions.
  • Well organised, with strong administrative and IT skills
  • Comfortable managing your own workload and territory independently
  • Willing to travel regularly, including overnight stays
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player

Training & Development:

A structured initial 3-month training programme will provide an understanding of Landia’s products, systems, and internal processes, The responsibility will be on the individual to continue with self-development throughout their employment with Landia.
